Unity ceremonies are not uncommon in weddings. Until yesterday I'd completed Sand Ceremonies and Glass Shard Ceremonies and Fisherman's Knot Ceremonies, but now I can say I have a new favorite, the Wine Ceremony. They all signify basically the same thing, unifying two hearts in an eternal bond, but they vary a bit in language and delivery and methodology. This one, the officiant reads the vow as the bride and groom pour two bottles of wine into a third decanter, then drink to their union. Beautifully thought out and executed, hoping to do more ongoing.
