With the advent of new technologies, and in response to the COVID pandemic of 2020, I positioned myself to be able to officiate long-distance, remote services for couples who are often not only continents away from me, but separated from each other as well. I have been lucky enough to officiate a handful of such wedding services, and in my experience, they have been no less heartfelt or sincere or eye-watering than a live wedding. I performed another one today, and my feelings about the medium have only been validated.
