Any time is a good time for a wedding ceremony, even on a soggy March afternoon at the lake. As a non-denominational minister and professional wedding officiant, I've handled elopements and wedding services under just about every circumstance you can imagine, and for just about any purpose, on a day's notice (like this one). Sometimes a chaplain or bishop of cardinal isn't available. Sometimes a bride and groom doesn't want that anyway.
