As a non-denominational minister and professional wedding officiant, I'm often asked to officiate wedding ceremonies for couples in all sorts of circumstances, and sometimes that means officiating for a military couple because they're on a tight timeframe (deployment or benefits reasons). There are a million reasons for the timing behind a wedding ceremony, though always love is at the center, meaning getting married on a Tuesday afternoon is sometimes important because of that. The honor for me is to stand at the center of a couple and officiate a wedding on their behalf so they can get to whatever finish line they are reaching toward. The wedding officiant life, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
