Some wedding ceremonies are planned and booked years in advance, I'm already booking weddings in 2025, but others come together with much shorter notice. As a non-denominational minister and professional wedding officiant, occasionally I'll get pulled in last minute to support a wedding ceremony. In this case, I was contacted with 24 hours notice, managed to schedule the service, and performed a cute little wedding in the backyard of the wife's parents' home. Sometimes that's the best part of being a wedding officiant, coming to the rescue.
