Ski Resort Wedding Ceremony

The Utah mountains in October can be crazy beautiful as long as the snow holds for a minute. Last weekend I was asked to serve as the non-denominational minister, justice of the peace, and wedding officiant for two ceremonies at Solitude in Big Cottonwood Canyon. And the weather was amazing. When I officiate a wedding ceremony, I always focus on the couple and what their relationship stands for, and whenever I'm asked to perform a wedding ceremony in the mountains, I know the couple is committed to nature, the best place to make these sorts of commitments. I was blown away at the colors on the trees at these weddings, and I've officiated at Solitude before, several times, but October is the best month of the year for a non-denominational minister. I've performed a dozen weddings already, from the mountains to the Salt Flats, and I've got a dozen more on the books. Wedding season in Utah for sure, and that's the life of a wedding officiant around here.
