Spring in Utah, maybe, so here come the outdoor wedding ceremonies. As a non-denominational minister and professional wedding officiant, these are the favorite weddings I'm invited to support. The great thing about a wedding, whether we're face to face or having a remote wedding, is that the Bride and Groom dress to the nines, gather their family and friends, and say unimaginable things to each other with the kind of vulnerability and courage that's hard to imagine. My favorite thing as a wedding officiant is when the Groom cries as they say their vows, and that's true whether we're inside or out, during the day or in the evening.
