Some of the best, most heartfelt ceremonies I've been lucky enough to officiate have been small weddings in the mountains, with no DJ or band or bar. Just two families surrounding two people who are committing themselves to each other. As a non-denominational minister, this is the coolest part of the gig. I get to share in an insanely special moment, the wedding ceremony itself, with the intimate members of a family. And doing it in nature? That's about the best place to be.
