I was invited to officiate a quick elopement wedding ceremony this morning, first thing, at a brisk Fall sunrise at Liberty Park. And it was as heartfelt and emotional as any service I've provided as a non-denominational minister, wedding officiant, and justice of the peace. Every wedding ceremony is unique, even the short ones, with a different energy and a different set of circumstances surrounding their commitments, but even an elopement involves the rites of a wedding ceremony. Even an elopement, five minutes long, can hold firm forever, and it's my privilege to unite love together as a wedding officiant. It's the best gig in the world.
