I always tell my Brides and Grooms that they should have exactly the wedding they want, something that demonstrates exactly who they are as a couple. Wedding ceremonies don't happen everyday, I don't minister everyday, I don't officiate everyday, even though I'm a non-denominational minister, it just doesn't happen everyday. This couple took me up on it, so I wrote them a wedding based around their shared love for sci-fi and fantasy literature. The father of the bride recited a riddle to the Groom and required him to answer correctly before he would give him his blessing. And in the end, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." My favorite words in the wedding ceremony.
