Sometimes weddings take place under really formal circumstances in really formal places...and sometimes looks can be deceiving. I was booked for this wedding with the expectation that it would be a small outdoor wedding or a quick ceremony in a living room, but once wedding came around, we had actually relocated the service to a local private school with an onsite chapel. Still only a handful of people in attendance, but it definitely felt more formal and rote-based than my normal weddings. So in this campus-based chapel, the 6 of us had a cute little wedding service based on friendship, love, commitment, compassion, and loyalty. As a non-denominational minister and professional wedding officiant, I have the honor to see it all, and support my couples under any circumstance.
